Located in a prominent part of Beirut, the BLOM bank headquarter building stands on a triangular plan with a large middle space and a sharp notch on one corner. In this middle space, an open half-cylinder shaft stretching from ground floor to the sky, through 8 floors, provides zenithal lighting to the whole interior. Lastly, the building comprises 6 basements levels serving for vault (safe-deposit boxes), car parking, technical and mechanical facilities.
