Project awarded by Beirut Water Authority, which includes the catchment of an underground river at Ach'ouch along Nahr El Kalb in order to increase the capacity of water by 50 000 to 200 000 m3/day. The project consists of an underground micro-Dam, 165m accessible tunnel, 120m elevated canal and siphon for Nahr El Kalb crossing, various security, control, operation and maintenance equipment. The design work includes diving survey to 20 meters depth in an under water cave and an accurate tunnel excavation hitting the micro-dam catchment site.
