Sheikh Khalifa Bin salman highway
The project consists to widen and improve the existing Sheik Khalifa Bin Salman Highway to cater the future traffic in year 2030, generated by the development plans in surrounding areas and the rapid increase in traffic. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway is a dual carriageway with an average number of 3 lanes along approximately 24km, extending from Al Farooq Interchange in the North up to Zallak Interchange (South) next to Bahrain University. The services to be provided for the upgrading of this strategic link include conceptual design with recommended alternative solutions, Preliminary and Detailed Design, contract documentation and tendering process.
